Leading clothing brand Twelve has officially inaugurated its flagship outlet in Bashundhara City, situated in Dhaka’s Panthapath business district. The grand opening coincides with the launch of their much-anticipated Eid collection, marking the brand’s 43rd store nationwide.
The outlet was inaugurated by Team Group Managing Director Abdullah Hill Rakib, Deputy Managing Director Abdullah Hill Nakib, and Twelve Director and COO Md. Matiur Rahman. Special guests included Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) President Doulot Akter Mala and General Secretary Abul Kashem, along with members of the ERF Executive Committee and promotional officers, all of whom witnessed a significant turnout of shoppers on the opening day.
During the event, Abdullah Hill Rakib expressed that Twelve has meticulously curated its Eid collection, highlighting fashionable, trendy, and modern clothing that caters to both ethnic and Western styles. He emphasised the brand’s commitment to providing quality apparel for all demographics, stating, “We are dedicated to offering quality products at affordable prices, always keeping in mind our buyers’ purchasing power and comfort.”
Rakib also mentioned the implementation of a feedback system, with dedicated boxes available both online and in-store, reinforcing Twelve’s commitment to customer engagement and improvement.
Doulot Akter Mala addressed the economic landscape, noting Bangladesh’s impending graduation from LDC status, which could bring financial challenges. She advocated for the government to implement tax and duty benefits to support local industries as import substitutes in the post-LDC era.
Twelve previously operated two smaller outlets within Bashundhara City but has now expanded into a larger flagship space to better serve customer needs.
Looking ahead, Twelve is set to open its 44th store next week in Khulna, the commercial hub of southwestern Bangladesh.
