The German flat knitting machines manufacturer has launched its capsule collection for Autumn/Winter 2015-16, called Urban Natives. The collection draws its inspiration from the native North American cultures, current sportswear and fashion trends. “The result is a seemingly spontaneous patchwork from the worlds of traditional Native American clothing, sportswear, denim, fashion and vintage. Ethnic fringes and futuristic spacer knits highlight the collection’s hybrid spirit: from ancient traditions to modern sports,” points out Jörg Hartmann, Head, Stoll Fashion & Technology. Unique and individual motifs were developed using Intarsia plating while selective plating was used to achieve particularly harmonious chromatic expression. The company also tied up with Tonello and Studio Yarn for garment dyeing, and a yarn which produces a colour gradient during the knitting process.
