Kate Spade & Company, a US-based fashion retailer of women’s and men’s apparels and accessories, has announced to open its first store in Paris, France. The new store opening has come as part of the fashion brand’s expansion plan for Europe.
The brand will open a 2,000-square-foot flagship at Rue Saint-Honoré in June this year. Currently, the label is available in France through its own website, and at the department store Galeries Lafayette. This new store will stock the full range of clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories, as well as furniture from the brand’s home collection.
“We have already seen strong customer demand and brand resonance in the market with our wholesale presence, making a Paris specialty store the natural next step for Kate Spade & Company’s growth,” explained Craig Leavitt, Chief Executive Officer of the company.
