New York (US)-based fashion designer Anna Sui is all set to introduce her new home line with Pottery Barn’s youth-centric sister label, PBteen. The designer is celebrated for her bohemian-chic appeal and use of capricious motifs — it is these kitschy abilities that everyone has been waiting impatiently for her lifestyle collection that will launch this fall in September.

Though both the parties have kept all specific details about this collection under the wraps, Sui could not contain her elation about this new adventure and said, “I’m so excited about my new collaboration with PBteen. It truly features all the things I loved growing up with and still do! I created two different looks. One is based on the art nouveau feel of my boutiques, and the other one is inspired by the chinoiserie style you’d find in my own apartment.”
The Detroit-born designer’s line will be called Anna Sui Capsule Home Décor Collection and will span through a collection of curtains, bedding, artwork, lighting, and home accessories. The pieces will draw inspirations from Sui’s 12th century-like decorative style and will also shoot a throwback to the products Sui used to own as a teenager. She also added, “Since day one, when I opened my original flagship store on Greene Street, people have always asked me where they can buy the furniture in my boutique. My customers want the environment and feeling of the world of Anna Sui, so we’re now trying to interpret that for PBteen.”
The young home product retailer, owned by Williams-Sonoma Group, has previously also collaborated with fashion experts and artists. Speaking of this collaboration for Fall 2017, President of PBteen, Jennifer Kellor added, “This collection reflects Anna’s vibrancy and spirit, mixing vintage styles with her signature print and pattern.”
