Famous for printed and tie&dye garments, Jaipur, is now en route for digital printing boom too. According to Neeraj Kapoor, Sales Head, Mimaki, the company is getting good demand for digital printing machines from Jaipur. “Jaipur is world over famous for printed garments so it makes sense for the garment exporters to go for digital printing machines,” points out Neeraj.
Ratan Textiles, Kanhaiyalal Kalyanmal, Rajasthan Exports, Savi Exports are a few of the big export houses who already have digital printing technology and now the medium level exporters like Art & Craft Exclusives, Poornima Handicrafts and Gad Fashions are coming forward and installing digital printing machines. Anil Sharma, owner of Art and Craft Exclusives, exporting garment to Europe and Japan shares with Apparel Online, “Right now we are doing sampling for our buyers, once our buyers like the results, we’ll go for larger production.”
