HCA with a tradition of more than 10 decades of servicing the apparel industry with ‘World Acclaimed Brands, Best Technology and Services’ not only offers sewing solutions from pioneers like Zoje, Kansai Special, Highlead, Atlanta, ASS, SWF, Strobel, Yuho, Cutex, Grand, Duke and LSM, but also offers indigenous and cost-effective sewing automates, manufactured in its own facilities is very pleased with the overall market recovery. “The market is good today with most exporters booked till October,” says Anil Anand, MD, HCA.
Anil foresees the same to continue provided the industry starts adoption of automation in apparel manufacturing in a much more rapid manner. “If you look at any other established apparel manufacturing country, automation has seeped into the very bottom of their manufacturing operations… But we still seem to be lacking in the same,” asserted Anil. But having said that, Anil is seeing a lot of automation and systematization of manufacturing operations from the top apparel exporters like Shahi, Bombay Rayon and Scotts Garments, and the domestic brands like Arvind. “With the export industry back on track, companies who left the segment due to the recession, are now also coming back,” added Anil.
With a manufacturing and R&D facility in Bangalore, HCA is banking on its indigenously developed range of Duke sewing machines and automates for growth in the coming times. “Growth for us as a machine manufacturer will certainly come from automation only as people are not just focussing on increasing the productivity and efficiency of its manufacturing facilities but also looking at building capabilities for value additions and minimize the outsourcing,” concluded Anil.
