Recently concluded summer 2016 edition of Texworld USA, which celebrated its 10 years of success in New York City, presented an array of international suppliers showcasing innovations in textiles, trims and accessories in 16 different product categories, from July 12-14.
While over 485 exhibitors representing 15 countries including USA, UK, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, Colombia, India and more, exhibited at Texworld USA, Apparelsourcing USA – the co-located apparel sourcing show presented 224 suppliers and international apparel manufacturers specializing in finished apparel, contract manufacturing and private label services.
On visitation front, Texworld USA welcomed a total of 4,471 visitors across three days while Apparelsourcing USA hosted 1,049 verified visitors. “Texworld USA’s 10th anniversary edition had a great turnout of visitors from large, well-known brands such as Macy’s, Marc Jacobs, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Lord & Taylor, and Target, as well as many new faces from smaller but fast-rising start-up apparel brands,” said Jennifer Bacon, Director – Texworld USA, adding, “This just speaks – there’s something for everyone at Texworld USA.”

Further during the show, Austria-based Lenzing Innovation hosted 20 ‘Industry Boot Camp’ sessions, providing information on trends, sustainability, and new fibre development. Around 800 visitors attended these sessions.
