Among the few companies present at the fair for packaging technology, Paradise Engineering Corporation can arguably be called the most innovative indigenous finishing and packaging equipment manufacturer. Established in 1978, Paradise has a long history with apparel and textile manufacturers of Ludhiana and north India, and now has a large clientele in Bangladesh and Nepal too. “We were the first in Ludhiana to develop washing machines for sweaters and more than that taught the industry here on why to use washing, finishing and testing equipment,” claims Ram Krishan, Owner, Paradise Engineering Corporation. Being an ISO 9001:2008 certified company Paradise has a wide range of products for garment finishing, boilers, packaging and food processing.
Apart from the already successfully running testing equipment of Paradise, the Stretch Wrap Fully Automatic Packaging Machine drew large number of inquiries at the fair. The machine being fully automatic streamlines the job of preparing cartons as the only task an operator has to do is to set the parameters for the package and then put the carton onto the base plate. The machine can automatically adjust itself according to the height of the package and is in-built with a user-friendly control panel. “Everybody is talking about lean and process optimization in sewing and cutting, this machine from Paradise does the same for packing,” adds an upbeat Ram Krishan, happy with the response at the fair. The motor, on which the machine runs, turns off automatically when idle, saving energy at a significant rate.
Paradise claims that it is the only company manufacturing knits checking lights mounted on a 3600 rotational panel. “All the machines from Paradise are manufactured in Ludhiana and hence it’s not only the price advantage we offer our customers, but also the technical support and spare parts for all machines,” comments Ram Krishan. For the purpose of training of the in-house workforce of the customer, Paradise makes available ‘How to use’ videos of all its products for practical understanding of the products working.
