Online platform Merchant Bay Limited’s Digital Trade Week is starting tomorrow.
Scheduled to be held from 15 to 21 October, Merchant Bay aims to facilitate virtual meeting between more than 1,000 suppliers from Bangladesh with buyers from more than 50 countries from across the globe.
According to the organisers, the event, during which buyers can request suppliers for quotations, will help the buyers to get a clear image about the readymade garment industry of Bangladesh.
Further, the suppliers would be able to promote their production facility and products to the global buyers, round the year.
During the course of the event, a host of sessions on various aspects of the industry is scheduled to be held as well.
Apart from this, private sessions to facilitate buyer-supplier meet-ups will also be organised during the event.
It may be mentioned here that Merchant Bay is a B2B online platform that aims to connect buyers with the sellers/exporters.
It is a subsidiary of garment exporting company Sayem Group.
