ITME India, the focal event for textile and textile engineering industry in India, held every four years, will have 1,050 exhibitors representing 38 countries, at its 6-day event from 3rd to 8th December 2016 in Mumbai, India. The event will include 24 product launches from leading industry specialist companies.
In addition to being the largest exhibition for textile machinery and technology in India, ITME India has Gujarat and Karnataka – two key states in India having strong presence of the textile industry – participating as state partners. The event is also supported by Department of Heavy Industry and Textile Ministry, Government of India along with Government of Maharashtra.

The show will be dedicated to promoting the ‘Make in India’ initiative to the visiting foreign business visitors and also propagate government schemes and incentives for the textile industry in India.
“Our industry being the second largest employer after agriculture, it is utmost necessary that Indian textile machine manufacturing industry has to strengthen its base for quality output accepted at international level. India is now developing in multi-folds in most of the sectors, especially in the spinning machinery manufacturing segments,” said the organizers.
