HeiQ, a leader in textile innovation creating some effective, durable, and high-performance textile effects, has launched its new HeiQ Bug Guard technology for durable mosquito and insect protection at the ongoing apparel show ISPO Munich 2017, from February 5 to 8, in Germany.
The HeiQ Bug Guard technology is said to transform clothing into a protective shield against disease-carrying vectors like mosquitoes and bug bites and consequently decrease the likelihood of infection with life-threatening diseases such as Zika, Malaria and Dengue. This durable textile finishing technology is also used on every-day apparel and home textiles, such as mattresses, reports the company.
