The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), one of India’s top-ranked fashion institutes, and the BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) have expanded their agreement to collaborate internationally in academics.
On behalf of both parties Tanu Kashyap, IAS, and Md. Shafiul Islam, Chairman of the Board of Trade, signed the agreement.
The Ministry of Textiles, India, organised the program in the Bharat Tex 2024 global event, one of the biggest international textile shows.
BGMEA President and founder member, BOT, BUFT Faruque Hassan, textile entrepreneurs and academicians were present at the signing ceremony.
In the closing session of the MoU programme, Rachna Shah, Textile Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, was present as Chief Guest.
