Intex South Asia began in Dhaka on 16 June.
According to a press release issued, Textile and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi inaugurated the three-day international textile sourcing show at Dhaka’s International Convention City Bashundhara.
Speaking at the inauguration of the event, the Textile and Jute Minister, reportedly, said that through such international exhibitions and mutual cooperation, more possibilities of the textile sector will be unveiled.
The minister further, reportedly, expressed hopes the combination of advanced technology-based power, energy and skilled human resources and economically viable workforce will help the sector become more competitive.
