Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (FCCI) President Riazwan Ashraf has demanded the Government to ensure maximum gas supply to the textile sector to save it. Expressing his concern on Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) decision of suspending gas supply to the sector from November 15, 2014 to March 15, 2015, Riazwan said that the shortage of gas during winter is a regular phenomenon for the last many years and it is not appropriate to take a unilateral decision to suspend the gas supply without consulting the sector or its representatives.
