
One of Bangladesh’s leading textile dye and chemical manufacturer, Colour Style Bangladesh, has been given six acres of land at the Jamalpur Economic Zone.
Media reports maintained this adding a lease agreement was signed recently at the Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) office —Ali Ahsan, the Executive Member (Investment Development) of BEZA and Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, Managing Director of Colour Style Bangladesh, reportedly, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations even as according to the agreement, Colour Style Bangladesh will set up two units in Jamalpur in a JV with a Turkish entity.
For this, Colour Style Bangladesh will, reportedly, invest around US $ 11.76 million thereby creating employment opportunity for at least 1,235 people.
It may be mentioned here that Jamalpur Economic Zone is being set up on about 436 acres of land in Digpait and Titpalla Unions of Jamalpur Sadar, which is expected to create employment opportunity for around 32,000 people.
