Underlining Bangladesh enough manpower at mid-level in the country’s apparel sector, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said foreign manpower at the mid-level was no longer required.
The Commerce Minister reportedly maintained this while speaking as the Chief Guest at the orientation and certificate award ceremony of the BUFT-EPB PGD Programme for Mid-Level Management to create skilled managers in the RMG sector.
Speaking at the event organised by the BGMEA Institute of Fashion and Technology in association with the Ministry of Commerce, Tipu Munshi reportedly said necessary skilled managers have been created in the country at the mid-level in the RMG sector while they are also doing good job.
“Even though we’ve been performing such tasks through foreign manpower for long, but now enough manpower have been created in Bangladesh,” claimed the Commerce Minister while adding there was no need to bank on foreign managers anymore.
