Amity Skills Institute & Amity Institute of Vocational Education and Training has signed a letter of intent with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and with various Skill Sector Councils including Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council to focus on skill development and training initiatives. Recently, a national skills seminar was organized in Amity campus in which experts from various sectors like Dilip Chenoy, CEO, NSDC; Sandhya Chintala, ED and VP, NASSCOM; Roopak Vasishtha, CEO, Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill and many more addressed the need of skill development in various sectors. On behalf of Amity University, Gurgaon , Professor PB Sharma, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Padmakali Banerjee, Pro Vice Chancellor also addressed the students. “Collaboration of premier educational institutions like Amity University with the industry would not just benefit the students immensely, but also the country as a whole in scaling great heights,” says Padmakali.
