
Lacoste, the French apparel retailer is the latest brand to remove angora wool products from its racks. Lacoste confirmed the same to PETA UK and requested to be added to the animal protection organization’s list of retailers that do not sell angora. “We can confirm that Lacoste has no plan to use angora fibres in its coming collections,” the company said in a statement. PETA U.K. sent a box of dairy free chocolates to Lacoste’s headquarters in Troyes, France, as a token of thanks for the brand’s kind endeavour. The French retailer now joins a dozen of other companies like Lands’ End, QVC, and Express, Inc., Eddie Bauer, GAP and FCUK
