CCKL receives LEED Platinum certificates

COMFIT, ECO VILLE, Comfit Composite Knit Ltd. a concern of Youth Group, received USGBC (LEED) BD+C v4 PLATINUM Certificate with 85 LEED points.

Following a thorough examination of the project certification and performance data, Comfit Composite Knit Ltd. recently obtained all 85 LEED points for the certification, meeting all requirements set forth by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC®).

Comfit Composite Knit Ltd., is one of Bangladesh’s leading garment manufacturers, established in 2006. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery including processes i.e. knitting, dying, printing, all-over printing, and garments accompanied by a well-tuned development team.

Several of Europe’s biggest retailers, including Sportmaster, Jako, TNF, Auchan, Engelbert Strauss, C&A, H&M, and Primark, rely on Comfit as a consistent supplier. Comfit can currently produce 35 tonnes of knitting, 35 tonnes of dyeing, 220 thousand pieces of printing, and 8 tonnes of all-over printing every day.

With 86 lines for Jersey and 32 lines for Lingerie, the company exports 3.5 million pieces of circular knit items like T-shirts, polo shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, Serafino, trousers, etc. and 2.5 million pcs lingerie items like boxer shorts, briff, mini slip, etc.
