Italian fashion and lifestyle brand Moncler is giving us some serious Spring/Summer vacation vibes with its latest offering. The enviable holiday story told through the ‘POSTCARDS’ series, created in collaboration with Parisian artist Jean-Philippe Delhomme, is Moncler’s way of taking everyone to the best vacation-worthy beaches of the world.
Collecting mundane summer memories ranging from skateboarding on warm days, eating a hot dog to diving among rocks and trying to ride the perfect wave – the collection features real postcards in a lively painted colour palette. Based in the French capital, Delhomme is an illustrator, painter and cultural writer and his works are a mainstay in major magazine. However, he is perhaps most famously known for the mural he created for Parisian club, Castel. For this collection his inspiration is mainly spanning over three locations, namely Venice Beach, California; Saint Tropez in France and Italy’s Capri and Positano, he has used a variation of hand painting and digital prints as well as a three-dimensional touch by way of embroideries over the figures.
