Having worked up to the position of Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager at Bergdorf Goodman in her dedicated fourteen years, Elizabeth von der Goltz is heading to Yoox Net-a-Porter as its new Global Buying Director. Von der Goltz will begin in her new role at the luxury e-commerce company in mid-summer.

In her long career, she has also held positions at Barneys New York as well as upmarket women’s boutique Henri Bendel. At YNAP, she is replacing Sarah Rutson, who declared her exodus from the business in January to concentrate on her personal ménage. Von der Goltz will be transferring to Yoox Net-A-Porter’s centre of operations in West London and will essentially in charge of handling the group’s Yoox and The Outnet businesses, which stock lower priced last-season designer fashions.
This news follows last month’s announcement of Alessandra Rossi getting re-hired as the luxury group’s new President of the off-season subdivision of Yoox Net-a-Porter. The YNAP Group is also enjoying a better phase in sales compared to Bergdorf Goodman and announced its full year results in early 2017, declaring a net sales rise of 17.7 per cent to £ 1.6 billion, while their attuned EBITDA rose a further 17 per cent to £ 133.8 million.
