A panel of Bangladesh’s garment makers, Forum, recently recognised six women leaders for their outstanding contribution to Bangladesh’s readymade garment (RMG) sector, in different categories.
Media reports maintained this adding panel at a celebration event of the International Women’s Day held recently in Capital Dhaka awarded the women leaders who have been relentlessly pushing the boundaries in the apparel sector every day as a token of appreciation.
As per a press note issued in this direction, Managing Director of Ibrahim Knit Garments (Pvt) Ltd., Kaniz Fatema Reema; former BGMEA President and also Vice Chancellor of Asian University for Women, Dr. Rubana Huq; Chairperson of Desh Group of Companies, Rokeya Quader; Managing Director of Shinest Group, Samiha Azim; Managing Director of Zalo Knitting Ltd., Nuria Lopez; and Vice Chairperson of Evince Textiles Limited, Shabnam Shehnaz Chowdhury, have been recognised for their outstanding contribution at the said event.
