Calculation of the operator efficiency is undoubtedly the key for perfect and on-time production but doing the same manually every hour of the shift is a tedious job. To counter the same, TYPICAL has a mobile application for all its sewing machines. The free-of-cost mobile application currently runs only on Android platform and has a QR code scanner. Once the machines are scanned using the QR code, the machine details are specified in the application automatically. A person can check the efficiency of operators working on those machines and also instruct the machine to start, stitch or stop its actions through the application. Any number of machines of the same series can be added to the application, which also notifies in case of any breakdown in the machine along with mentioning about the problem causing area of the machine.
During the GTE ’16 at Bangalore, TYPICAL also exhibited their X-Feed machine which is a compact version to replace puller as per the company. Manoj Gupta, Country Marketing Manager at TYPICAL explains, “The machines have already been specifically sold for shirts, ladies tops and high-value garments manufacturing in Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and received a positive response,” adding, “Today, the customer demands quality and those manufacturing high-value garments are ready to invest in high-end machines. To cater these customers, the manufacturers buy such machines to balance the lines. Majority of machines in a line are bottom feed and just 30 per cent of them will be X-Feed. We’ve never compromised on the price of making the machines causing our machines to be little high on price. Yet, it is asked by the customer as he is ready to pay for the best of quality that we are able to deliver from past 70 years.”
The X-Feed machines are available in three models, M- for medium weight fabrics, L- for lightweight fabrics and H- for heavyweight fabrics.
