Pro Falcons Machinery Manufacturers, a Coimbatore (India)-based company, has unveiled a semi-automatic Band Knife Cutting Machine.
The company has taken the innovation in band knife cutters to the next level as the newly launched machine does not require human efforts in most of the operations.
G. Dinesh, Managing Director, Pro Falcons, commented, “In the Indian market, the band knife cutters are handled by the cutting masters and we totally bypassed that process through our technology. We have added a semi-automatic machine to help the industry grow.”
The Pro Falcons Band Knife Cutting Machine’s knife comes in a ‘band’ form which appears like a loop. The band knife stays static during the cutting operation and allows the fabric to move as per the cutting requirements.
Pro Falcons has stated that the machine features an Advanced Safety Guard which is placed just next to the cutter. This makes the entire cutting process safer than any other cutter in India.
The Advanced Safety Guard can be adjusted up to 220 mm height, depending upon the thickness of the fabric layer. The machine is equipped with an in-built automatic grinder as well for the effective sharpening of the blade, thereby eliminating human intervention.
Additionally, an Air Cushioned Table is attached to the machine. The cushioned table reduces the weight on the fabric layer and ensures the smooth fabric movement. This feature of the machine supports the fabric cutting operation without the use of a Cardboard Inner Tube.
Pro Falcons further claimed that Silicon Packs have been installed in the machine to cool down the knife. “Silicon packs eliminate the fusion of the chemical yarn and interlining cloth yarn,” underlined the company.
Currently, the technology provider is offering the Band Knife Cutting Machine in four variations: Ultima, Giant, Classy and Beta. Companies like K Intimate, Tirupur; AGM Garments, Krishnapuri; and Fabro Leather Industries, Jaipur have already invested in Pro Falcons Band Knife Cutting Machine.
