Following many difficult years of economic struggle, now Italian textile and fashion industry is improving it registered growth of 2.7 per cent in 2014 over the year before. Claudio Marenzi, the current President of Sistema Moda Italia, a fashion and textile trade association said there have been signs of recovery. He said, “I am extremely proud of the strong relationship of trust that we’ve built with the Ministry of Economic Development, and particularly with Vice Minister Carlo Calenda, whose goal is to defend Italian products — their quality, recognition and excellence — we share.”
