
K T Rama Rao, IT Minister of Telangana, India recently inaugurated Juki Sewing Machine Training Centre at Textile Park in Sircilla District of the state. Darnala Lakshma Reddy, Chairman, SES; D Krishna Bhaskar, District Collector; Yasmine Basha, Joint Collector; Shyam Lal Prasad, District Revenue Officer; and Srinivas Reddy, Additional Director of the Handloom & Textile Department were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
With a setup of 40 sewing machines, about 200 women will be given training at the centre. The Minsiter also ordered the officials concerned to arrange some more machines so that more women could be trained. He also urged women to utilize this opportunity to fullest.

The IL&FS organization of Tamil Nadu along with the State Government will actively participate in the training programme.
It may be mentioned here that the State Government has further sanctioned Rs. 30 crores for the establishment of Apparel Park in the district to provide self-employment opportunities to many families that are dependent on handloom industry for living.
