
South Korean entity, M/s Kido Dhaka Co. Limited is all set to establish a sportswear and high-end apparel manufacturing unit in Adamjee Adamjee Export processing zone (EPZ) even as the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority or BEPZA signed an agreement in this direction recently with the South Korean company worth around US $ 31.17 million.
Media reports maintained this adding M/s Kido Dhaka Co. Limited will produce around two million pieces of jackets, motorcycle safety jackets, leather and fibre jackets, work jackets, sports jackets, baby warmer and PPE annually while also create employment opportunity for around 6,040 Bangladeshi nationals.
Acting Director of Kido Dhaka Co. Ltd., Ahn Young Dae Joseph and Member (Investment promotion) of BEPZA Ali Reza Mazid, reportedly, inked the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, in which was, reportedly, present newly-joined Executive chairman of BEPZA Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman and former Executive Chairman Major General Nazrul Islam, amongst others.
