The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has instructed that customs activities will continue nationwide throughout the upcoming Durga Puja holidays.
According to the directive issued on Tuesday (30 September), all import and export procedures must remain uninterrupted during the festival. The order has been forwarded to all concerned public and private agencies involved in international trade to ensure smooth operations.
This will serve to facilitate import and export related activities for companies, especially in the RMG sector since the festive season is among the most important for manufacturers as well as retailers since customers look forward to higher inventories to get ahead of the festive rush of buyers looking for apparel and garment items.
