
In a significant move towards sustainable energy adoption, Solaric Group has signed an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract with Chroma Textile Ltd. for a 560 kWp rooftop solar project at Chroma’s facility in Pachdona, Narsingdi, Bangladesh. Chroma Textile Ltd. is a prominent manufacturer in the ready-made garments (RMG) sector, specialising in textile production.
The agreement was formalised by Naznin Akther, Director of Solaric Group, and Rokon Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director of Chroma Textile Ltd., in the presence of senior officials from both organisations. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to integrating renewable energy solutions, aiming to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainability within the textile industry.
Solaric Group has established itself as a leader in providing innovative solar energy solutions across Bangladesh. Notably, the company has been involved in several significant projects within the RMG sector, including Palmal Group and Youngone Corporation. In collaboration with Youngone Corporation, Solaric is executing the world’s largest single-site rooftop solar project, a 50 MWp installation at the Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) in Chattogram, Bangladesh.
