
Re/DRESS, the sustainable fashion brand, has recently partnered with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, Reverse Resources, to promote apparel waste recycling in the Bangladesh garment industry and spread the message of circular fashion among garment makers and consumers in the country.
Reports claimed this while adding Re/DRESS and Reverse Resources want everyone to know of Bangladesh’s incredible potential in recycling cotton and went on to add in 2019, Bangladesh produced nearly 5,77,000 tonnes of apparel waste and almost half of which (250,000 tonnes), was 100 per cent pure cotton waste.
Meanwhile speaking to the media, founder and designer of Re/DRESS, Teresa Albor, reportedly underlined it has created its collections using almost 100 per cent recycled textiles to show that it can be done.
