Under its latest annual report, German-origin sportswear retailer Puma has highlighted its sustainability goals achievement, which includes the complete phase-out of poly-fluorinated hydrocarbons (PFCs), a ban on polyvinylchloride (PVC) and a commitment to carry out an environmental profit and loss (E-P&L) assessment every two years. The report also highlights recourses taken by Puma for factories that fail to meet adequate compliance levels. The company severed ties with 35 supplier facilities which were non-compliant as per its compliance norms last year.
