Ltd., and GMS Trims Ltd., have announced their recent achievement of the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification under the latest version 4.1, O+M-Existing Building category, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Founded in 1999, GMS has established itself as a reputable entity in the Bangladesh garment industry, focusing on enhancing business processes while fostering a healthy and invigorating workplace environment. With this latest achievement, the total number of LEED-certified factories in Bangladesh rises to 239, including 97 Platinum, 128 Gold, 10 Silver and 4 Certified statuses. The ongoing increase in LEED certifications highlights the industry’s proactive stance on sustainability and responsible manufacturing practices.
