Ludhiana-based Pruthi Exports, a vertically integrated, three-decade-old company, which is known for its kidswear, is now exploring new markets. And for that, the company recently took part in an international sourcing fair (India International Garment Fair) for the very first time.
Exporting mainly to the Middle East and the Gulf regions, the company that has a capacity of more than 3,500 body suits per day, is enthusiastic about adding new markets from across the world to its list of export destinations. The company, which specialises in every area of kidswear and has a capacity of 10,000 basic products per day, has started offering men’s loungewear as well.

While speaking to Apparel Resources, Jashan Pruthi, Partner, Pruthi Exports, said, “We are offering products in knits as well as in woven. We hope to add some more buyers from the new markets, for which we have already given them the quotation. We are open to all regions. We are not restricting ourselves to any particular market, since we want to expand. As we have everything in-house, our target is to get bigger volume. Coming to this fair was a nice experience for us; we learned quite a few things.”
“We have a good variety. Our colour combination is not focused on any particular theme. The buyers can feel the authenticity in our products; our hard work shows in them. Be it our product design or quality, one can easily notice it. The people we saw our products at this fair, mostly appreciated them,” Harguneet Pruthi, Designer Head, Pruthi Exports added.
