Knitted goods manufacturers receive the first ‘Made in Green’ labels

In a first, knitted good manufacturer Mattes & Ammann GmbH & Co. KG., located in the Swabian Alb region and textile importer C. Melchers GmbH & Co. KG in Bermen received the OEKO-TEX ‘Made in Green’ label. Mattes & Ammann received the label for fabrics for the hygiene market, which they manufacture under sustainable conditions and Melchers received it for the polo shirts produced by them.

‘Made in Green’ label helps textile companies in recognizing supply chain services which manifest socially responsible working conditions and environmentally friendly production processes.
