The US based iFabric Corp has introduced a new proprietary fabric, which combines anti bacterial technology (ProTx2) with an advanced odour absorbing compound (FreshTx). The company said, “This innovation provides the apparel and footwear markets with a technology that allows for extended wear without the usual odour that is normally associated with perspiration-saturated garments.” Established in 1985, iFabric is into woman’s intimate apparel manufacturing. In 2008, it developed the Intelligent Fabric Technologies (North America) Inc. division, which creates a wide range of products for various segments like medical, health care, sports and athletic, military, consumer and corporate apparel, bedding, linens etc.
