US-based sports giant, NIKE has opened its first flagship and biggest store in Eastern Europe on Kuznetskiy Most in Moscow, Russia. NIKE’s partner in Russia, A3 Retail Group will run the store spread over an area of 23,455-square-foot. The new store opening has come just in time for Air Max Day.
“This will be the largest Nike store in Russia and Eastern Europe. This will be the first flagship store in Moscow, on par with shops like Châtelet-Les Halles in Paris, and New York’s SoHo,” founder of A3 Retail Group was quoted as saying.
This new flagship store has a dedicated Jordan area, a Nike + Running Trial Zone while the basement houses the Nike + Football Trial Zone.

Nike Moscow is the latest in a series of flagship stores in major cities. NIKE Inc., the world’s leading designer, marketer and distributor of authentic athletic footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories for a wide variety of sports and fitness activities, has also been recently termed as the world’s ‘most valuable’ apparel brand after a 13 per cent surge in brand value to US $ 32 billion.
