Soon after Vanita Chhabra reallocated to Williams Sonoma as Vice President from Macy’s after a long stint of 17 years, Mridul Dasgupta has joined Macy’s Merchandising Group as General Manager, India. Taking over in June 2013, Mridul was Country Manager with JCPenney’s India office in Noida, before his new assignment. Carrying seven years of rich experience from Busana Apparel Group, Indonesia before joining JCPenney, Mridul also worked with Triburg from 2000 to 2003.
