Hennes & Mauritz has joined hands with Balmain’s Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, to create a limited-edition line. The capsule collection will hit select H&M stores by 5thNovember 2015. “We are excited to have Balmain as our guest designer at H&M and create a truly involving experience for everybody. With its mix of couture spirit and streetwear attitude, Balmain owns a unique style, at once opulent and direct, sensual and energetic. It is also closely linked to the show business and musicworlds, which adds another element of surprise,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Adviser at H&M. The line will debut at 250 H&M stores worldwide and online, and range from apparel to several accessories for both, men and women.
H&M’s previous holiday collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin and Stella McCartney have already proved to be huge hits with the collection being sold out in a matter of days.
