
With an aim to bring in the much-needed accountability while also try to rid the alleged anomalies, the Commerce Ministry has come up with digital commerce guidelines, prepared in consultation with the stakeholders and released recently.
According to reports, those operating online businesses have positively received the guidelines even as on 6 July, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi briefed the media on various aspects of the guidelines while also reading out the key points/salient features of the guideline.
We hope it will be helpful for customers, reportedly, maintained the Commerce Minister with reference to the guideline even as he underlined it covers and explains all areas pertaining to product delivery, advance payment price adjustment, presentation of sale of goods or services in the marketplace, general rules, displaying product and services information in the marketplace, etc.
