The Agragami Panel has won eight of the nine seats in the first ever election of e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB).
Media reports maintained this adding the panel is led by Shomi Kaiser.
According to the e-CAB election commission, foodpanda Founder Syeda Ambareen Reza got the highest (453 out of the 601) votes, as 611 of the 795 voters cast their vote in the election held recently, while others elected are namely Shomi Kaiser, Abdul Wahed Tomal, Saidur Rahman, Asif Ahnaf, Shahriar Hasan Nasima Akter and Sahab Uddin Shipon.
The two other panels have in the meanwhile, reportedly, rejected the result and are planning to appeal for manual recount as they suspect ‘irregularities or mistakes’ in the process of vote counting through electronic scanning of paper ballots.
