Bangladesh is all set to launch a central complaint management system (CCMS) on 19 February with the aim to bring discipline to the crisis-ridden e-commerce sector of the country.
This is underlined in media reports, which claimed the authorities concerned have already completed preparations to launch the CCMS — which has been developed by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division — which will act as a platform for receiving all complaints.
As per the process, each complaint will be addressed within 10 working days.
The CCMS is scheduled to be launched through a programme with Ministry of Commerce (MoC) with Senior Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh in the chair while Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and ICT Division State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak are also expected to attend the same.
