The over 120-year-old Eastman Machine Company from Buffalo, New York, a specialist in manual and automated cutting machines, spreading equipment, industry-specific design software and material handling systems, is one of the very few companies that is still manufacturing its machines in USA.The cutting room solution provider, earlier operating through reputed agents like Eastman Technocrafts in the country, has recently opened its own liaison office in Dhaka for strengthening its presence in the country. Speaking exclusively to Apparel Online Bangladesh, Fakhrul Islam, Country Manager Bangladesh, Eastman Machine Company said, “With the wide range of cutting solutions offered by our company, our products are present in almost every apparel manufacturing facility of the country.”
The office located at Shah Mukhdum Avenue, Sector-12 Uttara, Dhaka, is all set to service the growing needs of the industry. The company is confident that with the opening of the liaison office, not only existing customers would be serviced much better but even the present market share can be increased effectively. Already known for its world-class manual cutters, Eastman is looking at promoting its CNC automated cutters in Bangladesh.
