Textiles from Bangladesh along with agro-processed products and pharmaceuticals have very high potential in Uzbekistan.
As per reports this was underlined by the speakers who took part in a recent view exchange meeting even as they called upon the Uzbek Government to extend more facilities for joint venture initiatives in this direction.
At the meeting, discussions took place pertaining to matters of mutual interest and ways and means of enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Uzbekistan, especially in the private sector even as the Uzbek delegates expressed interest in having more trade from Bangladesh.
Taking part in the discussion, Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, the CIS-BCCI President informed that CIS-BCCI is the only Chamber in Bangladesh that works exclusively for the promotion of bilateral trade between Bangladesh and the CIS countries while also underlining that it attaches more importance to increasing cooperation and trade facilitation between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh.
