Southeast University’s Department of Textile Engineering is organising a 2-day e-conference on textile.
Titled, ‘Innovation in Textile’, AFM Mafizul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University, presided over the inaugural ceremony of the conference on 27 December (Sunday) and he was joined by Md. Abul Kashem, who is Vice-Chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Textiles, as the chief guest.
Researchers and teachers from around seven research institutes and universities of different countries, including Bangladesh, England, Turkey and Australia, reportedly presented technical papers.
Department of Textile Engineering Chairman (Southeast University), Syed Fakhrul Hassan delivered the welcome speech at the event, which was attended by chairmen, directors, faculty members, registrar, deans, officials, amongst others, as per a press communique issued by the concerned university.
