Jaipur-based Mahima Fashions recently added some new products to its profile, which include pyjama, stoles and mini shorts. A shipment of a reasonable order size of these products was recently dispatched to California which is a new market for the company. The four years old firm was earlier into domestic market only and 1.5 years back it entered into export. “In last Tex Trend India fair we showcased these new product categories and it was liked by many buyers. A set of pyjama and stole in same fabric that too with traditional block printing in just US $ 6 is a great attraction for buyers. Now we are expecting more orders of the same and will continue these products in future also,” informs Manoj Meena, Proprietor of the firm who is also manufacturing umbrella dress, skirts and blouses, etc.
As of now the company is exporting to Australia, US and Spain. The firm is approaching new buyers only by participating in various fairs and is expecting good growth this year. “Our export business in last 1.5 years proved better than we hoped. In future we will focus and invest more in exports,” concluded Manoj.
