Epyllion Group, a prominent leader in Bangladesh’s apparel sector, has achieved a significant milestone by earning the prestigious Global Security Verification (GSV) Certification from Intertek. The certification was awarded to two of the company’s key facilities, Epyllion Knitwears Ltd. and Epyllion Style Ltd.
In order to assist businesses in evaluating and improving their security protocols, Intertek developed the Global Security Verification (GSV) Certification program. Its main objective is to integrate and simplify different international security standards, such as AEO, PIP, and C-TPAT. Ensuring conformity with international security regulations, lowering risks, and enhancing supply chain security are the goals of the certification process.
GSV facilitates uniform scoring and reporting procedures, improves data management, lessens audit fatigue, and offers a centralised platform for security verification. Records and paperwork, personnel security, physical security, information access controls, shipment information controls, and other topics are all included in GSV audits.
The GSV certification underscores Epyllion’s dedication to strengthening supply chain security and meeting the rigorous standards set by international buyers. It also highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to compliance, sustainability, and responsible business practices.
The official handover ceremony was held at Intertek’s Dhaka office, where Neyamul Hasan, Country Managing Director of Intertek Bangladesh, presented the certificates to Mohammad Shah Alam, Deputy General Manager (Compliance & Sustainability) of Epyllion Group. Senior officials from both organizations attended the event, celebrating this important achievement.
This accomplishment marks another step forward for Epyllion Group in establishing a resilient, secure, and globally trusted supply chain, reinforcing its position as a responsible and forward-looking player in the apparel industry.
