
A good number of readymade garment and fabric manufacturers from Bangladesh are going to take part in the upcoming Messe Frankfurt-organised 2020 edition of Texworld/Apparel Sourcing/Home Textile Sourcing, USA.
According to media reports, sister concern of Noman Group, Zaber and Zubair Fabrics Limited, along with many other prominent names from the country’s apparel and fabric manufacturing sector under the state-owned Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) will participate in the three-day virtual event, scheduled to be held between 21 and 23 July.
It may mentioned here that Messe Frankfurt has decided to make the summer edition of the event a virtual affair this time around on account of COVID-19.
According to the organisers, the event will have an online showroom which would enable participants to exhibit and highlight their innovations while also allowing visitors to interact with the representatives on their specific requirements.
What’s more, a smart and intuitive networking tool that calculates the most relevant sessions and people will recommend users to attend/connect with the appropriate seminars/people.
According to Senior Manager-Brands and Customer Care of Zaber and Zubair, Anol Ryhan, the virtual event is cost effective as the company would need to spend around Taka 0.2 million this time compared to around Taka 3.5 million, which it would have to shell out in case of physical presence, as per the media report.
Further, even after the event gets over after 3 days, the organisers have allowed the company to showcase its offerings on the virtual platform for 27 days.
