Swedish fashion giant H&M, in association with Conscious Commerce Co-founders Olivia Wilde and Barbara Burchfield, has launched the all new H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection. This is the second time when the three have teamed up to promote sustainability within the fashion industry.
Burchfield seemed enthused at the launch and averred, “I’m very proud to partner with them for the second year in a row to bring attention to the innovation that is taking place and to bring a collection that is so beautiful, chic, and revolutionary. Moreover, the fabrics are better than ever before.”
The H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection features clothing and accessories made from more sustainable and eco-friendly materials. This year’s collection is inspired from the archives of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, situated in the Palais du Louvre in Paris. The assortment will be made available for purchase on April 7, 2016 at 165 stores worldwide and online.

Appreciating the apparel retailer’s commitment for sustainability, Wilde said, “H&M is really investing in sustainability and through their Conscious Exclusive line, they are proving that sustainability doesn’t necessarily mean sacrificing style.” Besides this, H&M’s first World Recycle Week will run from April 18-24, where old clothes will be recycled by the fashion retailer.
