
Yellow, a prominent name in Bangladesh’s fashion and lifestyle scene, made a significant stride by introducing the globally acclaimed backpack brand, Outdoor Products, to the Bangladeshi market through an exclusive partnership.
The grand launch event took place recently, hosted at Yellow’s flagship store on Gulshan Avenue in the capital Dhaka.
Iwama Kiminori, the Japanese ambassador to Bangladesh, emphasised the importance of building strong human relationships and noted that the introduction of this product serves as a bridge between nations.
He stated, “This is one clear piece of evidence. It’s a big stage for Japanese companies to enter Bangladesh’s domestic market, marking a significant first step. I hope other Japanese companies will follow this bold initiative.”
Ahmed Shahryar Rahman, the CEO and president of BEXIMCO Textiles, apparel, and PPE division, expressed pride in this momentous occasion. He saw it as a win-win situation for all parties involved, contributing to the deepening of the Japan-Bangladesh friendship.

With Outdoor Products celebrating its 50th anniversary, they planned to expand their product range in Bangladesh, thanks to the strong support of BEXIMCO and Yellow. Morita also hinted at future expansions into accessories and more.
