This strategic move aims to bolster the company’s efforts in promoting sustainable practices and circular economy initiatives in one of the world’s largest apparel manufacturing hubs.
Rizvan Hasan brings over a decade of extensive experience in the apparel industry, with a strong background in supply chain operations, sustainable sourcing, and brand-factory collaboration. His career began in 2012 with roles at Echotex and Epyllion Group, where he developed expertise in product development, order execution, and cross-functional coordination, gaining valuable insights into textile manufacturing processes.
He further expanded his professional scope through positions at international retail giants such as Next Sourcing and Original Marines, focusing on strategic sourcing, global supply chain management, and consumer-focused merchandising. Rizvan’s dedication to sustainability has been evident throughout his career, notably during his tenure at Brannerson Apparel Ltd., where he led efforts to transition synthetic product lines to certified sustainable materials like GRS and OEKO-TEX.
Academically, Rizvan holds a BSc in Textile Engineering from Primeasia University, an MBA in Textile Management and Business Studies from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Garment Business from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
In his new role at Reverse Resources, Rizvan is actively engaging with key stakeholders, including global brands, UNIDO, BGMEA, and BIDA, to expand circular economy practices across Bangladesh’s textile industry. His appointment underscores the company’s commitment to advancing traceability, resource efficiency, and waste-to-resource systems in the region.
This strategic leadership addition marks a significant milestone in Reverse Resources’ mission to foster sustainable growth and circularity within the textile supply chain in Bangladesh.
